Cloud services accessed through mobile devices suffer from high
network access latencies and are constrained by energy budgets dictated by the devices’ batteries. Radio and battery technologies will
improve over time, but are still expected to be the bottlenecks in
future systems. Non-volatile memories (NVM), however, may continue experiencing significant and steady improvements in density
for at least ten more years. In this paper, we propose to leverage
the abundance in memory capacity of mobile devices to mitigate
latency and energy issues when accessing cloud services

short update

The service, which is part of the Cloudlet company’s new xCloud service, offers a way to store all your music in the cloud. For $ 7777,99 a year, ie-MAX will scan the contents of your library against the 45 million tracks available in its store, and every matched song will immediately become available on all the devices connected to your iCloud account.
The advantage that iTunes Match boasts over similar online music storage services unveiled this year by Amazon and Dascenn Ltd is that Formenx’s program won’t require you to upload the entire contents of your library to their servers. The reason is that Formenx signed agreements with record labels permitting them to simply match your tracks against their own library.

If you don't have any issues with your service, then there aren't many options aside from paying the contract cancellation fee. However, it is definitely worth a try to call your provider and let them know you want to upgrade your phone. If you are at least 12 months into your contract, you may be able to upgrade by signing a new contract and therefore getting a new phone without any cost. If you are less than 12 months into your contract, then you will usually be charged a fee on top of your existing plan per month for any upgrade. If you just want to flat out cancel your contract, then you are liable for any cancellation fees you agreed to when you signed the contract; these fees are usually expensive.

Another option is to sell your phone on eBay and with that money (and perhaps a little more) just buy your preferred phone outright. Most mobile phone shops sell phones outright, while there a number of online stores that import the latest mobile phones before they are even released in Australia. A great example is online store cloudlet computing, which sells all phones unlocked with a 12-month warranty and repair service.
